When a large volume of tramp iron is expected, a self-cleaning type separator will be more economical than a simple suspended magnet which is sufficient for small quantities.
Most beneficial are electromagnetic overband separators, when strong magnetic fields are needed or arrangement of equipment only allows for high clearence distances.

PERMANENT-MAGNETIC OVERBAND SEPARATOR

A solution for efficent separation of tramp iron

This type of machine is used to separate ferrous impurities from any kind of bulk material. The function ist o recover magnetic particles from slag, industrial waste, foundry sand, and are utilized to protect crushers, belt conveyors, screens or ginders from metallic tramp particles. When a large volume of tramp iron is expected, a self-cleaning type separator with extraction belt is more economical than a simple suspended magnet which is sufficient for small quantities.

MAGNETIC PULLEY

Tramp iron separation through magnetic head pulley

These pulleys are usually installed in belt conveyors.
The magnetic system induces a strong magnetic field functioning all over the perimeter. All magnetizable material is attracted and pulled to the pulley, until it is extracted from the magnetic field by the lower run of the belt.

Vibrating feeders with electromagnetic drive are used for bin extraction and for conveying of bulk material. Especially favourable for dosing, applications include feeding of weigh bins, or weight feeders, or steady and smooth feeding for downstream equipment.

Vibrating tubular feeders with electromagnetic drive are used for bin extraction and for conveying of bulk material. Typically they are used to convey dusty material or used to protect material from ambient conditions. Inlet and outlet can be sealed of by means of elastic sleeves.

DEWATERING SCREEN

for removal and dewatering of mud and sludge

These screens dewater material and sludge and produce bulk material which can be transported with standard means. They are also used to recover solid particles from liquids, muds or sludges. The robust screen frame is manufactured in either a welded or a bolted and glued design, depending on the application.

HIGH-FREQUENCY ELECTRIC VIBRATORS

ITV-VR High variable frequency electric vibrators with fixed connection

Italvibras produces 2 series of electric vibrators with frequency variation which can be applied to systems and machines in the precasting industry: ITV-VR Series, with variable frequency; ITVAF Series, with fixed frequency. The ITV-VR series electric vibrators are able to provide a centrifugal force of up to 5300 Kgf (52 kN) at a frequency varying from 0 to 6.000 rpm. The ITVAF series electric vibrators with fixed vibration (6000 or 9000 rpm) provide a vibrating energy of up to 1480 Kgf (14,6 kN).
Both are available with either the fixed or cradle connection.

FLANGED ELECTRIC VIBRATORS

MTF Electric vibrators with top mounting flange

The new MTF (MTF-S02) series, made up of vertical vibrators with lateral flange and with weight protection covers fixed to the opposite part to the flange, adopts innovative technical solutions that increase performance and reliability.
Typically used in circular screens and in small and medium-size sieves, these vibrators are supplied with lamellar or clamped eccentric weights, which regulation is particularly easy.
The MTF series complies with the most recent IEC and EN international standards for use in atmospheres with potentially explosive powders. In particular, the MTF series can be used in areas 21 and 22.

VU Linear Motion Mechanical Vibrator

The VU series linear motion exciters manufactured by Italvibras have been designed for medium and large size vibrating machines operating in many industrial processes. Model VU exciters can be mounted in line (connected through cardan shafts),in order to achieve higher centrifugal forces.
