Acceleration belt
First, a screen or conveyor belt feeds the moist or dry compost screening residues onto an acceleration belt, which ensures optimal material distribution and feed speed.
Air Flow Supply
An upward air stream at the transfer point lifts foils and light materials from the main flow. These are guided to a separation edge, cleaned of residues, and then extracted by a suction system into a container.
Separation via Star Screen
Heavy, small, and round materials drop off the acceleration belt and bounce off the front roller of the next conveyor. The remaining material is conveyed to a star screen, where elongated and lumpy items (e.g. twigs) are separated from larger oversized pieces (e.g. branches).

Professional compost processing is increasingly important. The AEROSELECTOR combines wind sifting, ballistic separation, and screening – all in one machine. It efficiently separates materials like foil, stones, and structural elements in a single process. Moist and dry material mixtures can also be separated with excellent results.
Transforms Screen Overflow into Four Usable Fractions
The new Aeroselector combines wind sifting, ballistic separation, and screening in a single compact machine. It stands out for its impressive throughput, space-saving design, and overall efficiency.
In professional composting facilities, the Aeroselector has already proven its value by reliably separating film, stones, and structural materials from screen overflow. It is also highly effective at processing other moist or dry material mixtures containing particles of various sizes, dividing them into clean, usable fractions.
