Bulk Loading

During the loading of trailers, ships, barges or stockpiles with granular or powder bulk materials, dust generation presents great safety and environmental health risks. Product loss also means cost penalty.

These problems can be substantially reduced with the use of INGESOA® highly-reliable and robust-built Loading Spouts and Loading Spout Positioners.

Modular construction of these units allows customized solutions to meet the varying needs of our customers.

Telescopic Loading Spout

Telescopic Loading Spouts have been specifically designed to load dry bulk materials from silos, hoppers, and other discharge points into a variety of enclosed containers and vehicles.

These units direct the flow of materials within a restricted area and help reduce dust and product loss. Discharge from the storage bin may be made through a direct discharge or controlled rate feeder. Telescopic Loading Spouts use a solidly constructed inlet steel tubing, housed within an external flexible duct. De-aerated outlet ensures dust-free loading. Movement is controlled with a motor-operated hoist using wire rope steel cable. These units are supplied with two limit switches, respectively for extended and retracted positions.

Level indicators available: rotating paddles or capacitive sensor.

Standard size is capable of handling up to 250 m3/h of material.

Open Storage Loading Spout

Open Storage Loading Spouts have been specifically designed to load dry bulk materials from silos, hoppers and other discharge points into a variety of open containers and vehicles. This unit directs the flow of materials within a restricted area and helps reduce dust and product loss. Discharge from the storage bin may be made through a direct discharge or controlled rate feeder. Open Storage Loading Spouts use a solidly constructed steel telescopic tubing, a lower skirt with metallic aprons and two flexible dust suction hoses that ensure dust-free loading. Movement is controlled with three motor-operated hoists using wire rope steel cables. These units are supplied with two limit switches, respectively for extended and retracted positions.

A DK-1B capacitive level indicator or a rotating paddles level indicator located in the lower skirt controls the rise of the spout as the pile height increases.
Standard size is capable of handling up to 350 Ton/h of material.

Loading Spout Positioner

Loading Spout Positioners have been specifically designed to move loading spouts horizontally in the X axis when loading trucks and railcars. These units use a solidly constructed chassis, made of electro-welded structural steel, that runs on square rails. The pulling is done with a lateral protected rack. The reception hopper is covered with a flexible casing provided with a self-tensioning system. This permits the appearance of a vacuum environment inside the hopper that allows dust-free operation. The discharge box consists of a central chamber where the material flows and a concentric chamber for de-aeration.

Siethom Loading Spout Positioners are supplied with a protection railing.

Standard horizontal travel: 1 m. Custom configurations: up to 9 m. Positioners with more than 1 m travel are provided with aerated reception hopper.
